Waterproofing Project Update in Fife Lake, MI
Hello from Fife Lake! We're midway through an exciting waterproofing project and it’s time to share our progress with you. Here's what we've accomplished so far and what our next steps look like to ensure a watertight basement for our client.
Project Overview
- Location: Residential property in Fife Lake, MI
- Objective: To waterproof the basement effectively, protecting it from future moisture and water damage.
- Scope of Work: Sealing all cracks and installing containment measures to protect the property during the waterproofing process.
Progress Update
Crack Sealing
- Complete Seal: All visible cracks along the basement walls and floor have been meticulously filled. We used a high-grade sealant which provides flexibility and durability, ensuring that the seal remains intact against future pressures.
Containment Installation
- Protection Measures: Before starting, we installed extensive containment systems to protect the home’s interiors from dust and debris. This includes sealing off work areas with plastic sheeting and using dust barriers to keep the rest of the home clean.
Looking Ahead
With the cracks sealed and everything protected, we're set to begin the major phase of installing our non-envasive waterproofing compound. This will ensure any water that trys the basement is quickly stopped, keeping the basement dry and safe from water damage.
